In Telangana, six people burned a woman alive on the allegation of black magic
Telangana: Believing in superstition can turn a person into a monster, and due to this many big incidents are seen. The latest example of this has come to light from Medak district of Telangana, where a case of burning a woman alive on suspicion of black magic has come to light in a village. Police has given information about this horrific incident on Friday.
Telangana Police said that this incident happened on Thursday night. About 6 people attacked the house of a 45-year-old woman in Katriyal village of Ramayampet Mandal and set it on fire. On receiving information about the woman being beaten and burnt, the police immediately reached the spot and took the injured woman to the hospital. However, the woman died due to excessive burns.
Local police said on the basis of preliminary investigation that the accused had accused the woman of doing black magic on a member of their family. Due to this suspicion, about 6 people together attacked the woman and burnt her alive. Police have registered a case of murder in connection with this dangerous incident. He also informed that the accused who carried out the incident have been identified and further investigation and action is going on in the case.
This incident once again highlights the ill-effects of superstition and emphasizes the need for awareness against such evils in the society.
