Heavy rainfall chances, wind speed 40-50 Km

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the next two days in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh. At present, major Kharif crops including paddy, bajra are coming to the mandis. In such a situation, there is also a possibility of loss to the farmers due to rain.

There is a possibility of rain in Punjab and Haryana on Sunday and Monday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert. Along with many districts of Punjab, Haryana, the wind will blow at a speed of 40-50 kms in Chandigarh and there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder. The department has issued a warning that the crops which are in the open can be damaged by strong winds, so keep them covered.

From October 17, a change in the weather will be seen from the possible low pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the city may receive heavy rain on the night of October 17 and October 18 along with wind and thunder. This will be the first rain after the return of monsoon.
