Due to the weather conditions and wind speed not supporting, the air of Delhi-NCR has again reached the severe category. Faridabad included in NCR has been recorded as the most polluted city in the country and Delhi the second most polluted city.

According to SAFAR data, in the last 24 hours, 34 incidents of stubble burning have been recorded in Punjab, 37 in Haryana and 87 in Uttar Pradesh.
The PM 2.5 generated from this accounted for six percent of the pollution. On increasing pollution even after the share of stubble smoke is not high, experts say that the pollution at the local level is polluting the air of Delhi.

At the same time, the level of pollution is increasing due to the decrease in the speed of local winds and the weather conditions. The level of PM 10 in the air is 366 and the level of PM 2.5 has been recorded at 208 micrograms per cubic meter. In general, PM 10 levels below 100 and PM 2.5 levels less than 60 are considered safe.
