On the statement of former DGP Mohammad Mustafa, the Bharatiya Janata Party has started surrounding Congress and Navjot Singh Sidhu. The BJP has described the case registered against Mustafa as a mere sham. The party demanded the Election Commission to arrest him.
In the case of anti-Hindu remarks made by Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu’s advisor and former DGP Mohammad Mustafa during the campaign in Malerkotla, BJP State General Secretary Jeevan Gupta said that such statements would affect the country and the country and their leaders. The anti-Hindu mentality has been exposed once again.
Jeevan Gupta said that Mustafa wants to spoil the atmosphere of peace and brotherhood of Punjab by making such a statement. Gupta said that though the police have registered a case against Mustafa, it is just a sham. The commission should intervene and arrest him immediately. Jeevan Gupta said that the mindset of Congress has always been anti-Hindu and anti-national. In such a situation, it is useless to expect country-friendly or social-friendly thinking or actions from any of their leaders or workers.
Jeevan Gupta alleged that Congress got Shri Harmandir Sahib attacked in Punjab, massacred, burnt alive by putting tires around his neck in Delhi but never apologized to the people of Punjab for these misdeeds. Navjot Singh Sidhu also keeps showing his Pakistani love in front of the public by repeatedly praising Pakistan and his advisors are also speaking his own language.
Jeevan Gupta said that although the police have registered a case against Mohammad Mustafa under section 153-A for promoting enmity between communities, which is insufficient. The police have registered a case against Mustafa under mild sections under pressure from the government and Sidhu.
