Shiromani Akali candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency N.K. Sharma has accused the present Aam Aadmi Party government of ruining Punjab economically and said that the Aam Aadmi Party came to power two years ago by promising to make Punjab Rangla Punjab. The government has turned Punjab into a poor Punjab within two years.

NK Sharma was addressing a meeting of workers during the election campaign here today. He said that Punjab has been badly ruined economically in the last two years. Punjab government has taken a loan of more than Rs 1 lakh crore.

The people of Rajpura are still waiting for the industrial revolution, but new industries are far from coming here, the industries already running are closing down. The Punjab government has not provided any help to the industrialists here. He said that before asking for votes from the people here, the candidates should tell which industrial packages have been given to Rajpura and surrounding areas in the last two years.

Taking on BJP candidate Preneet Kaur and Congress candidate Dharamveer Gandhi, N.K. Sharma said that both the leaders never took care of the constituency while being MPs. Today the situation is such that Preneet Kaur is not accepted by BJP people and Dharamveer Gandhi has not been accepted by Congress people. On this occasion, many dignitaries including SUPPOSED member Paramjit Kaur Landra, Narinder Singh Gill, Anil Kumar Neelpur, Harbhajan Singh, Harnek Singh, Buta Singh Jansui, Ram Singh, Baljit Singh were present.
