Uttarakhand, 27 April 2024: The registration figure for Chardham Yatra reached 12.48 lakh in seven days. CM held a meeting with officials regarding Dhami Yatra and gave necessary guidelines.
CM Dhami took a meeting regarding Chardham Yatra preparations, in which he instructed the officials to complete all the arrangements for the pilgrims on time. This time the record of registration of pilgrims for Chardham Yatra is being broken. The number of registrations reached 12.48 lakh in seven days, while last year about four lakh passengers had registered in a week.
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the Chardham Yatra. This is confirmed by the registration figures. The Tourism Department had started registration from April 15 for the convenience of pilgrims coming from all over the country and the world for the Chardham Yatra. On Sunday, more than one lakh pilgrims registered for the pilgrimage to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Hemkund Sahib.
According to the report of the Tourism Department, till now 12.48 lakh travelers have registered. In this, 4,22,129 pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath, 3,56,716 for Badrinath Dham, 2,31,983 for Gangotri Dham, 2,19,619 for Yamunotri Dham and 17,684 for Hemkund Sahib. The government hopes that this time too the devotees visiting Chardham Yatra will create a new record.
