Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is caught in trouble over the appeal of Muslims to vote in the West Bengal Assembly Election. TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has the last day to respond to the notice of the Election Commission.
Election Commission asked for reply in 48 hours from Mamata Banerjee, as while addressing an election rally in Raidighi, appealed to the Muslims to unite and vote in favor of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), asking them not to vote. After this, PM Modi said at a rally in Bengal that if we had spoken about being united with Hindu voters, then the Election Commission notices would have come. After this comment of PM Modi, BJP complained to the Election Commission. After this, the Election Commission issued a notice to Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday (7 April) and asked for a reply within 48 hours.
The Election Commission has also issued notice to the BJP candidate Shuvendu Adhikari (Suvendu Adhikari) regarding the controversial speech. Suvendu Adhikari has been accused of allegedly using communal words in a speech given last month. Now the Election Commission has asked Shuvendu Adhikari to reply to the notice within 24 hours.
Shuvendu is in the election ground against Mamta Banerjee.
Please tell that Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is contesting from Nandigram, leaving her traditional seat Bhawanipur this time. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Shuvendu Adhikari (Suvendu Adhikari) who left TMC from Nandigram.
