‘Modi Code of Conduct’ should be the name of Election Commission said Mamta Banerjee angry over stopping Cooch Behar.

After four people died in the violence in the fourth phase of West Bengal assembly elections, the state has got its political mercury. After the violence in Cooch Behar on Saturday, the Election Commission has prohibited any leader from going there for three days. Chief Minister of this state Mamta Banerjee was maddened. Attacking the Election Commission, Mamta said that the Election Commission should change its name to ‘Modi Code of Conduct’ (MCC). Now Mamta will visit Cooch Behar on 14 April. Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee alleged that she was prevented from meeting the families of the victims. Mamta Banerjee took out her anger on the Election Commission and Prime Minister Narendra Modi by tweeting on Sunday. Mamta wrote, Election Commission (EC) should change its name to MCC i.e. ‘Modi Code of Conduct’. Mamta further wrote that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should give all its strength, but no one in this world can stop me from sharing the pain of my people. Mamta said that she can stop me from visiting my brothers and sisters in Cooch Behar for three days, but I will reach there on the fourth day. I will meet the families of the victims on April 14, no one will stop me.

What is the matter?
Let us know that during the fourth phase of voting for the Bengal assembly elections on Saturday, firing occurred in Sitalakuchi of Cooch Behar, in which four people were killed. After this, the Election Commission banned entry of any leader in the region for 72 hours in view of the tense situation. Not only this, the Commission has also issued a decree to stop campaigning 72 hours before the next phase i.e. the fifth round of voting. Mamta Banerjee is very angry with this decision of the Election Commission.
