Nanakmatta, 29 March 2024: Baba Tarsem Singh has been shot dead. After the massacre, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Nanakmatta Gurudwara camp with Lok Sabha candidate Ajay Bhatt.
Baba Tarsem Singh was riddled with bullets by unknown assailants who came on a motorcycle. After this massacre, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami along with Lok Sabha candidate Ajay Bhatt reached Nanakmatta Gurudwara camp. CM Dhami paid tribute to Nanakmatta Gurdwara Dera chief Baba Tarsem Singh.
Today at around 6.30 am, Baba Tarsem Singh was sitting on a chair outside the camp, when suddenly two bike-riding miscreants came and opened fire on him. Baba Tarsem Singh was seriously injured by bullets. Baba was admitted by his supporters to a private hospital in Khatima, where he died.
SSP TC Manjunath said that two people riding a bike had murdered Baba Tarsem Singh. The faces of the miscreants have been revealed. SAP appealed to the people to immediately inform the police if they get information about the accused.
