Road show by CM Dhami in Chamba

Uttarakhand, 07 April 2024: While CM Dhami targeted the Congress in the public meeting, he also counted the work done by the BJP government.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today reached a public meeting organized in support of BJP candidate Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah in Chamba, Tehri. During this, while doing a road show in the city area, he offered flowers at the memorials of Sridev Suman and VC Gabar Singh.

Accusing Congress of insulting women, CM Dhami said that Congress has not given ticket to even one of the five Lok Sabha seats in the state. Said that Congress is only entangled in appeasement, nepotism and corruption. Congress has also promoted appeasement in its manifesto. The BJP government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is making the overall development of Uttarakhand by keeping women at the forefront.

CM said that Uttarakhand is the only state in the country in which uniform civil code, strict anti-copying law, law to stop conversion, stop riots and to give 30 percent reservation to women in government jobs have been made.

He said that the DPR for making Tehri Lake a world class tourist destination, building a ring road around it and a tunnel from Dehradun to Tehri Lake will also get approval soon. On this occasion, MLA Kishore Upadhyay, former minister Dinesh Dhanai, District President Rajesh Nautiyal, Subhash Chand Ramola, block chief Shivani Bisht were present.
