Budget 2025-26: Yogi Adityanath’s Plan for Uttar Pradesh’s Growth and Empowerment

The Budget for the financial year 2025-26 for Uttar Pradesh was presented in the state assembly, aligning with the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This budget is dedicated to the upliftment of the underprivileged, farmers, youth, and women, in line with the ancient concept of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ from the Sanatan culture. It focuses on prioritizing the needs of the marginalized sections of society, reflecting the central theme of ‘Priority to the deprived,’ inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

This is the largest budget presented by any state in India, which signifies the state’s commitment to holistic development. One of the major highlights of the budget is the emphasis on the agricultural sector. The government aims to enhance the income of farmers by ensuring better value for their produce and introducing supportive schemes. Additionally, the budget has several provisions aimed at the empowerment of women, such as special loan schemes and the creation of employment opportunities for them.

For the youth, the budget focuses on skill development, education, and job creation, ensuring that the younger generation can be self-reliant and contribute to the state’s growth. Infrastructure development, healthcare, and urban planning have also been given significant importance, reflecting the state’s effort to improve overall living standards.

The budget was successfully presented by Honorable Finance Minister Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, along with all the officers and staff involved. Under the strategic leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this budget is set to play a vital role in driving the state’s comprehensive development and ensuring a brighter future for its citizens.
