The House adjourned at around 6.30 pm. After discussion, the bill is likely to be passed on Wednesday. During the discussion, the ruling party MLAs praised the Dhami government, while Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and another opposition member raised the demand of sending it to the Select Committee for reconsideration. Before this, CM Dhami reached the Assembly with the Constitution book in his hands. During this, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and Congress member Pritam Singh raised a point of order that the bill is being introduced, but they have not received a copy of the bill. He asked the Speaker to give him time to study the bill.
