Dehradun: In a significant event, the appointment letter distribution ceremony for newly appointed Gram Panchayat Development Officers (GPDos) was held today, with Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami Ji presiding over the ceremony. The event marks a key step toward the development and empowerment of the state’s local governance.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami Ji, the Double-Engine Government is continuing its focused efforts to drive the development of Uttarakhand. The government has implemented historic decisions including the anti-cheating law, revised land laws, and the Uniform Civil Code, which are expected to provide new directions for the state’s progress.
The state government is also dedicated to empowering Panchayats through a series of initiatives. These include the construction of modern Panchayat buildings, promoting e-governance, and the computerization of Panchayat functions to improve transparency and efficiency.
