Guru Purnima 2021 : Border of Haridwar sealed due to force entry on the bathing festival

Due to corona pendamic, the state government has banned the Kanwar Yatra. In this situation no entry of Kanvida in district. A strategy has been prepared for them. Kanwariyas itself will be returned from the border. Also strictness will be done in trains and buses and all the borders of the district have been sealed from today.

1 SI, 8 constable and a platoon PAC have been installed at Haridwar-Najibabad Chidiyapur border. On other hand 4 SIs, 21 policemen, and a platoon PAC have been deployed on the Narsan border during day and night. Along with this, 4 SIs, 13 policemen, and one and a half platoons of PAC are deployed in Mandawar.
On the Kali river bridge 2 SIs, 14 policemen, and 1/2 platoon PACs have been installed. 4 SIs, 9 policemen, and 1 platoon PAC have been deployed in Bhupatwala. Also 2 SIs, 8 policemen and a platoon of PAC are stationed at Khanpur border in Purkaji.
All Kanwariyas returned from the border. From Shyampur border on Friday 5 vehicles of Kanwariyas have been returned. 120 vehicles were returned from Narsan, Chidiyapur, Shyampur, Bhagwanpur. All of them don’t have RTPCR -Ve report. Also they refused for doing test.
