PRE-REGISTRATION FOR AMARNATH YATRA

Amid the second wave of covid – 19 ,the pre registration for passenger will start 446 bank branches across India. The registration will start from Thursday on the first day of financial year for amarnath yatra, 2021 which is starting from June 28 .shiv devotees will now get registration facility in punjab National Bank ,Jammu and Kashmir Bank and Yes Bank .

The process will begin in 17 bank branches in Jammu and Kashmir.

Recognised hospitals and doctors issued cumpolsary Health certificate (CHC) from March 15 will be valid for registration . No pre-registration of helicopter passenger will be required. After the cancellation of yatra for consecutive two years, this year Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has increased the accommodation capacity from 1500 to 5000 in bhagwati Nagar.

The expected number of Shiva devotees is 6 Lakh who will get free battery car service for the first time on the route of battal to dommel. Accident insurance has increased from Rs. 3 Lakh to Rs. 5 Lakh for both passenger and service providers. More than five passengers have been given the facility of group registration . Registration in Jammu and Kashmir will start from April 1 as per an official.
