Romit from UP has traveled to Chardham by bicycle in 48 days

Romit Yogi, a resident of Shamli, UP, has completed the Chardham journey by bicycle in 48 days. He reached Someshwar after traveling a distance of 2650 km. His goal is to complete the journey of 12 Jyotirlingas by bicycle.

On Friday, Romit reached Somnath temple of Someshwar via Baijnath and Kausani. Here he had darshan of Lord Bholenath. Romit told that he has left three jobs after obtaining B.Com and B.Ed degrees. 24 year old Romit told that he is a child celibate. He started his cycle journey from Shamli on 12th May. He has performed Jalabhishek of Kedarnath Jyotirling by taking Ganga water from Gomukh.

While sharing his experiences of traveling in Uttarakhand, he said that he got full support from the people here during the journey. After a short rest at Somnath temple, he left for Kasardevi and Jageshwar Dham.
