Another sign of humanity and secularism has shown by the members of Kisan Ekta Chandigarh . Kheer and sweet rice has been distributed on the occasion of Eid-ul Fitr today at Matka Chawk , Chandigarh. A large number of people reached the spot and participated in the langar distribution to every vehicle passing by . The auspicious langer was brought by village Khuda Ali Sher’s farmers .
Usually , slogans are raised every day supporting farmers at the Chawk . Admiring the festive , the members of Kisan Ekta Morcha organised a langar and stopped every vehicle and fed them Kheer and Sweet rice .
Qawwalis were also organised from 4 p.m to 6 p.m at the chawk . Qawwals from different places came to bless the occasion as well as people . Meanwhile , slogans supporting farmers will continue till the Central Government meet the demands of the famers . Today Babu Sharan, Sahib Kunwar Singh, Jatinder Tank, Ladi Rathore Bagindi and Baldev Singh of United Kisan Morcha are reaching Sirsa during Qawwalis.
