In World University games, Odissa’s Dutee Chand has won gold in 100 meters. She completed 100 meters in 11.24 secs. This time frame is shortest, hence made her the fastest woman of India.
The 2019 Summer Universiade, often called as World University Games, is held in Naples, Italy. It is still going on between 3 and 14 July 2019.
India has won four medals till now. One Gold in Woman 100 meters by Dutee Chand, one Silver in 10m Air Rifle shooting by Elavenil Valarivan. While Sandeep and Pooja from SMVD University, India has won two bronze medals in Kick Boxing.
