Akali Dal President held a meeting with all the division in-charges of Patiala Lok Sabha.
Workers should go door to door to highlight the party’s policies and candidate’s impeccable image.
Shiromani Akali Dal President and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has instructed all the circle in-charges of Patiala Lok Sabha constituency to forget their mutual differences and campaign with complete unity in support of party candidate NK Sharma.
After NK Sharma was declared the party candidate, Sukhbir Badal called a meeting of in-charges of all the assembly constituencies falling under Patiala parliamentary seat and brainstormed on the election strategy and gave instructions to run the election campaign at a fast pace.
Sukhbir Badal said that after deep brainstorming, the core committee of Akali Dal has fielded an impeccable person like NK Sharma from Patiala.
In Patiala, while Congress and BJP have fielded turncoats and opportunists, the candidate fielded by Akali Dal has always been loyal to the party and despite becoming MLA and minister twice, has a spotless image.
Sukhbir Badal instructed all the local in-charges to decide the election campaign programs at their own level. Spread the party’s policies from door to door by organizing parallel programs in support of the party candidate.
Rallies will also be organized in the Lok Sabha constituency in the coming days. Sukhbir Badal said that in the coming days he will also hold a meeting with other officials of the Lok Sabha.
Speaking on this occasion, party candidate NK Sharma said that whatever positions he has held in the government and organization, he has always tried to take all sections of the party along.
Sharma asked all the local in-charges to organize programs in their respective areas. During the campaign, no village, city, town etc. should be left where an Akali Dal worker has not reached.
In this meeting, former minister and circle in-charge Surjit Singh Rakhra, Sutrana circle in-charge Kabir Das, former MLA Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra, Nabha circle in-charge Makhan Singh Lalka, Patiala Rural circle in-charge Jaspal Singh Bittu Chattha were ,Charanjit Singh Brar, Bhupinder Singh Shekhupur incharge Ghanaur, Patiala urban incharge Amarinder Singh Bajaj, urban head Amit Rathi, former chairman of Mohali District Planning Board Krishna Pal Sharma and many other leaders were present.
