Chamoli: State in-charge Kumari Shailja took a virtual meeting regarding the preparations for the by-election. He instructed the State Congress President to immediately prepare the panel and send it to the high command.
Uttarakhand Congress in-charge Kumari Shailaja took feedback regarding the preparations for the by-elections on Badrinath and Mangalore seats. He instructed State Congress President Karan Mahara to quickly prepare the panel and send it to the high command. Also asked senior leaders of the party to fulfill their responsibilities on both the seats.
On Tuesday, the state in-charge gave instructions in a virtual meeting with the party leaders of the state regarding the by-elections. Said, senior leaders and workers of the party have to fight the by-elections unitedly and strongly. Work will have to be done by making booth level election strategy. He appointed election in-charges in Badrinath and Mangalore constituencies and instructed senior leaders to fulfill their responsibilities.
Discussion on election Strategy
He said, an atmosphere is being created in favor of Congress across the country. BJP will be given a reply by winning both the seats of Uttarakhand. State President Mahara informed the state in-charge that he is on the tour of Badrinath. Election strategy is being discussed in a meeting with party workers. In-charges are being appointed at each booth.
Said, the party will form a panel in a day or two and send it to the high command.Said, the election campaign will be intensified by declaring the candidate soon. He said, Congress will win both the seats. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya, former state president Ganesh Godiyal, MLA Bhuvan Kapri, National Secretary Qazi Nizamuddin, co-in-charge Deepika Pandey and Amarjeet Singh were present in the virtual meeting.
