Boost to Tourism and Employment: Mohan Eco Tourism Zone and Kaladhungi Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari Inaugurated

Ramnagar: To promote tourism and provide employment opportunities to the local community, the Mohan Eco Tourism Zone and Kaladhungi Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari Zone were inaugurated on Tuesday (17 December). This initiative is expected to increase the inflow of tourists, thereby creating new employment and self-employment opportunities for the local youth and communities.

The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Forest and Environment Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal as the chief guest. Several esteemed legislators from the region also attended the ceremony, including Hon’ble MLA of Ramnagar Shri Diwan Singh Bisht, Hon’ble MLA of Salt Shri Mahesh Jeena, Hon’ble MLA of Kaladhungi Shri Bansidhar Bhagat, and Hon’ble MLA of Ranikhet Dr. Pramod Nainwal. In addition, Hon’ble Ministers of State Shri Suresh Bhatt and Shri Deepak Mehra were also present at the occasion.

During the event, departmental officials and local citizens highlighted the significance of these projects. The inauguration of the Mohan Eco Tourism Zone and Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari is expected to contribute to biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, and the economic growth of the region. Tourists will now have the opportunity to experience the thrill of jungle safaris, offering a chance to witness wildlife in their natural habitat.
