He did his higher education from Lucknow University. Dhami is a post graduate. In business education, he holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. Dhami students at Lucknow University were known for raising problems. He held various positions from 1990 to 1999. The achievement of being the convener and director of the national conference in Lucknow is recorded in his account. Pushkar Singh Dhami was also the State General Secretary during the time of UP. He was born in Tundi, Tehsil Didihat, Gram Sabha of Pithoragarh, a very marginal district of Uttarakhand.Being a soldier’s son, he adopted nationalism, service and patriotism as religion.
