There will be changes in the weather across the state in the new year. Due to rain and snowfall in the hilly districts, the cold will increase from the mountains to the plains.

The weather in Uttarakhand is changing every moment. It is cold in the morning and evening and the sun is shining in the afternoon. Today on Thursday, the day started with light sunshine from mountains to plains including the capital Dehradun. Although there was fog at some places, the weather started clearing up as the day progressed.

The weather will remain dry till 30th December. In the plains, an increase of one or two degrees in the maximum day temperature will reduce the feeling of cold. At the same time, after December 31, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hilly districts. Due to this cold wave, the cold will increase across the state. Its effect will also be seen in the day temperature.
