Bangladesh cyclone raises mercury in Uttarakhand

The dangerous cyclonic storm Ramal, which hit Bangladesh last Sunday, also raised the temperature in Uttarakhand. Meteorologists believe that the main reason for the temperature reaching beyond 40 in the last few days is cyclonic storm. Director of Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said, on May 26, there was a cyclonic storm in Canning in West Bengal and Mongla in Bangladesh, which later transformed into winds. As the temperature increased, these winds became hotter and had the biggest impact in Rajasthan and Punjab. Also, the effect of Ramal winds was seen in Uttarakhand also.
