Uttarakhand’s Road Connectivity Boosted with Forelane Project from Kashipur to Ramnagar: Puskar Singh Dhami
Nainital: Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand’s “double engine” government is making significant strides in improving road connectivity across the state. Chief Minister Puskar Singh Dhami recently announced the commencement of a major infrastructural project — the construction of a four-lane road from Kashipur to Ramnagar. This initiative marks a new chapter in the state’s commitment to enhancing transportation networks and fostering regional development.
The construction of the forelane roadway is expected to be a game-changer for the region. It will not only provide smoother and faster transportation between these two key towns but will also act as a catalyst for economic growth. As the road improves, businesses will benefit from better connectivity, leading to a more robust local economy. This project aligns with the government’s broader vision of strengthening infrastructure to promote trade, tourism, and regional industrialization.
In his post, Puskar Singh Dhami emphasized that the forelane construction would significantly improve travel times, ease the movement of goods, and enhance accessibility for both residents and visitors. “This development is an important milestone for Uttarakhand. It will improve transportation facilities, promote business activities, and accelerate the pace of regional development,” Dhami said.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted that the four-lane road will pave the way for greater connectivity between key economic hubs in the state, making it easier for industries to flourish and for people to engage in tourism and other economic ventures.
With the support of the central government, the forelane project is part of a series of infrastructure upgrades that will transform Uttarakhand into a more connected and prosperous region. This project reflects the ongoing commitment of the state and central government to improve the lives of Uttarakhand’s residents and promote holistic development in the state.
