Women and youth of Delhi drowned in Ganga at Neem Beach

Rishikesh: The woman started drowning while bathing in the Ganga, her companion jumped into the Ganga to save her, but he also drowned.

A young man and a woman drowned in the Ganga river in Neem Beach of Munikireti police station area in Rishikesh. SDRF is busy searching for both of them, but till now no trace of them has been found.

According to the police, both of them had reached Neem Beach on a rented bike from Munikireti. The youth was identified as Lovepreet Singh, son of Sukhbir Singh, resident of E-25 Sudarshan Park, West Delhi. Investigation is being done about the woman.

The woman started drowning while bathing in the Ganga, her companion jumped into the Ganga to save her, but he also drowned. Search operation is being conducted by SDRF Dhalwala. The search for both is ongoing.
