SP Rural has issued guidelines to the police personnel to maintain the traffic and peace of the city during the festive season. The police has also prepared a plan for traffic route and parking etc. during Dussehra etc. During Dussehra festival, there will be a zero zone from Ghat Chowk to Triveni Ghat.
During a meeting held in the Kotwali premises on Thursday, SP Rural Lokjit Singh discussed the arrangements during the festive season with the Kotwali and various police posts. During this, members of the effigy burning organizing committees were also present. The route plan during the Dussehra festival on October 12 was also discussed in the meeting.
