Firing at Burger King in Rajouri Garden, 1 dead
New Delhi : In the country’s capital Delhi, armed miscreants opened fire at a food outlet. During this, one person died. Police has revealed in the case that more than 10 rounds of firing were done at a food outlet in Rajouri Garden.
According to information, a person was shot dead inside a food outlet in Rajouri Garden, Delhi late on Tuesday night. On receiving information about the firing incident, police and forensic team left for the spot. Police reached the spot and started investigating CCTV footage to gather information about the incident.
Regarding the firing incident, on Wednesday, the police said that at around 9.45 pm, the firing incident was reported at Rajouri Garden police station. More than 10 rounds were fired at a food outlet in Rajouri Garden, in which one person died. DCP West Vichitra Veer spoke to journalists regarding the matter. He said, “There was an incident of firing at the Burger King outlet. Officers immediately reached the spot. According to preliminary information, more than 10 rounds were fired.”
According to information, the firing took place in J Block area of Rajouri Garden. Three unidentified attackers are suspected to be involved in the firing at the ‘Burger King’ restaurant late Tuesday evening. One person was shot several times in the attack. The injured was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has not been identified. The police are trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased. The DCP said, “One person has died in the incident. We are trying to identify the victim.” The police said they are examining CCTV footage to gather more information.
Officials and police crime unit have inspected the spot. Teams have been formed to gather information on the entire matter and investigate CCTV cameras. Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the accused.
