The Lok Sabha was adjourned till July 1 due to uproar in the House amid opposition’s demand for discussion on the NEET entrance exam issue. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “On behalf of the government, we have made it clear that we will give detailed information on whatever matter is raised. The government once again assures the members of the House that the government is always ready for discussion. But the trend adopted by the Congress Party to not let the House function by stopping the proceedings of the House is not right. I condemn it. I appeal that this should not happen again.”
