Mayawati Owaisi

Last year in the Bihar elections, the BSP contested in alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and AIMIM, in which Om Prakash Rajbhar’s Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SUBHSP) also joined.

BSP chief Mayawati is furious over the news of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). On Sunday (June 27, 2021), she made it clear that there is absolutely no truth in this matter. In the upcoming assembly elections of UP and Uttarakhand, her party will fight alone.

In a series of tweets, Mayawati said, “From yesterday, news is being circulated in a media news channel that Owaisi’s party AIMIM and BSP will fight the upcoming assembly elections in UP together. This news is completely false, misleading and factless. There is no truth in these news and the BSP clearly denies it. She further said, “by the way, it is again clarified by the party that except Punjab, this general election to the assembly to be held early next year in UP and Uttarakhand, BSP is not in alliance with any party. BSP will fight alone.”

According to the BSP Chief, “Keeping in mind this type of fabricated and misleading news about BSP, now BSP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Mishra has been made the National Coordinator of BSP Media Cell. At the same time, it is also an appeal to the media that before writing, showing and publishing any such misleading news about Bahujan Samaj Party and National President of the party etc., that make sure to get correct information about that from Satish Kumar Mishra.”

Last year in Bihar elections, the BSP contested in alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and AIMIM, in which Om Prakash Rajbhar’s Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SUBHSP) also joined them.

For the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections to be held early next year, the SUBHSP and AIMIM have formed an alliance under the banner of Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha and are campaigning to unite the parties against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. The SUBHSP chief had recently claimed that he was trying to bring all opposition parties on one platform to prevent the BJP from coming to power.
