Uttarakhand, 01 March 2024: SOP will be issued to deal with cyber attacks in the state. Cyber cases worth up to Rs 5 crore will be resolved in the state itself. At the same time, help of Common Service Centers will be taken for cyber awareness even in villages.
According to the Economic Survey report, the Cabinet has approved the Cyber Crisis Management Plan and Critical Information Infrastructure Guidelines for cyber security of the state’s IT infrastructure. Sectoral CERT and CERT UTK have been formed to deal with cyber attacks in the state.
The Adjudicating Authority Office has been constituted under the directions of the Union IT Ministry to deal with cyber attacks. In this, cyber cases worth up to Rs 5 crore will be settled. SOP related to Incident Response Mechanism and Application Security and Audit will be issued to deal with cyber attacks.
CERT-UTK website will be created for cyber security related matters of the state. At the same time, the work of creating a Cyber Security Center for Excellence regarding cyber security is in progress. MoUs are being signed with CSCs to take cyber security to every village.
