Babita Sharma campaigned in the colonies and societies of Zirakpur in support of her husband. She said that she has visited the entire Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, but from nowhere she did not hear about BJP candidate Preneet and Congress candidate Dharamvir Gandhi saying that they had started this development project in the constituency while they were MPs.
Seeking votes for her husband in the name of development, Babita Sharma said that her husband became village sarpanch, Nagar parishad prdhan, and district planning board chairman, besides becoming MLA and minister, but never compromised with the public interest. . She said that if the people here send Sharma to Parliament this time, then it will be the first time in Derabassi constituency that a person from here will become an MP after being an MLA. After becoming MP, N.K. Sharma will ensure uniform development of the entire constituency.
