Dehradun, 20 Jan 2024: The Uttarakhand government has declared a half-day holiday in government offices on January 22 due to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Orders have been issued in this regard. After the order, employee leaders said that the government had imposed a half-day holiday in government work, which is unjustified.
Unhappy with the order, the employees asked whether the staff teachers would attend the Pran Pratistha first and come to their office after 2:30 pm which was impossible. The government should reconsider the holiday and declare 22 January 2024 as a full-day holiday.
BJP national co-treasurer and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal had also requested the Chief Minister to declare a public holiday. He had also written a letter to the Chief Minister in this regard. Bansal said in his letter that there is a Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Pran Pratishtha program on January 22. Preparations are going on for its grand event in the whole world including Uttarakhand. The whole country is in Rammay at this time. This great festival of faith and belief is being celebrated with great pomp.
Everyone is eager to see the program of 22 January. Every Ram devotee wants to witness this life consecration ceremony. January 22 has been declared a public holiday in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, etc. so that people can celebrate this festival with pomp and show.
