Dehradun, 20 Jan 2024: The Uttarakhand government has declared a half-day holiday in government offices on January 22 due to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Orders have been issued in this regard. After the order, employee leaders said that the government had imposed a half-day holiday in government work, which is unjustified.
Unhappy with the order, the employees asked whether the staff teachers would attend the Pran Pratistha first and come to their office after 2:30 pm which was impossible. The government should reconsider the holiday and declare 22 January 2024 as a full-day holiday.
