Prayagraj is in the spotlight of the country and the world. Thousands of dead bodies buried along the Ganges .The bodies were buried less than a meter away in a radius of one kilometer.
It is being told that the administration got this work done in such a stealthy manner that even the local people did not get a clue. The administrative staff was camping there till morning.
Since then, the district administration has become active here. On Sunday night, the administration removed the marks of dead bodies by placing JCB and laborers overnight at Shringverpur Ghat. The people who made the mark with bamboo and pickets to identify the dead bodies of their loved ones at the Ghat are now completely missing. Now sand is seen only in a kilometer radius of the crematorium.
