Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Actor Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka, who entertained the audience for 13 consecutive years in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, passed away at the age of 77. Ghanshyam Nayak who played the role of Nattu Kaka constantly entertained the audience. Nattu Kaka was ailing for a long time. This information was shared by Asit Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah himself. He told that Nattu Kaka was battling cancer for a long time. He also had two operations a few months back. Due to age, he could not go to the shoots daily but he was a part of Taarak Mehta’s team from the beginning till now.
Ghanshyam Nayak, who plays the role of Nattu Kaka, always entertained people with his comedy and different style. He played the role of Jethalal’s assistant Nattu Kaka in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He used to work in his shop and Bagha was his nephew. Nattu Kaka’s English speaking style was loved by the fans. He used to make everyone laugh and laugh with his funny expressions.
Taarak Mehta’s producer Asit Modi shared the information of Nattu Kaka’s death on his social media account. Sharing the news, he wrote, ‘Our dear Nattu Kaka is no more with us. In a special conversation with a media channel in June, Nattu Kaka alias Ghanshyam Nayak’s son Vikas had told that five months ago some spots appeared in Ghanshyam Nayak’s neck. After that he decided to start further treatment. Vikas told that in the month of April, positron emission tomography scanning of the throat was done, after which we came to know about this disease. He did not have any problem because of these spots.
Nattu Kaka i.e. Ghanshyam Nayak’s family did not want to take any risk after coming under the grip of serious illness. That’s why the family immediately started his chemotherapy sessions, he also talked to the doctors who had diagnosed him in the initial stages. Even before this, Ghanshyam Nayak has done his operation due to throat problem. Last year, the actor had a throat operation, in which 8 knots were removed. After the operation, the doctor advised him to take rest. But at the age of 77, Nattu Kaka was quite strong. He was shooting the show in Daman, Gujarat even during difficult times.
Even after so many difficulties in life, Nattu Kaka was a lively person. Even at this age, he was dedicated towards work and used to entertain his fans a lot. For years, he was winning the hearts of people with his acting. Let us tell you that Ghanshyam Nayak has impressed everyone with his acting not only in TV but also in films. He has appeared as a child artist in Ashok Kumar’s film Masoom in the year 1960.
