South’s superstar SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘RRR’ seems to be in trouble. On one hand, the makers have postponed the release date of the film in view of the ever-increasing case of Corona and the threat of Omicron variant. On the other hand, now a PIL has been filed against the film in the Telangana High Court. In this PIL, there has been a demand to ban the release of the film. According to reports of tampering with many historical facts in the film, this PIL against ‘RRR’ has been filed by a student Alluri Soumya from West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. In the PIL, the student has demanded a stay on the release of ‘RRR’ by saying that many historical facts have been tampered with in the film. It is also alleged that the history of two freedom fighters Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem has been misrepresented in ‘RRR’. Demand to ban the release of the film in PIL, the student has also demanded in PIL that this film should not be given a censor certificate and it should not be released. Student in PIL has accused the makers of ruining the history of two freedom fighters in the film. The matter was heard by Justice Ujjwal Bhuyan and Justice Venkateshwara Reddy. Now the next hearing of this case is awaited. However, till now no official statement has come out from SS Rajamouli and the team of the film on this matter. Postponed on the release date of ‘RRR’ Directed by SS Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ stars Junior NTR, Ram Charan Teja, Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. In the film, Junior NTR will be seen as freedom fighter Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Ram Charan Komaram as Bheem. The release of the film has been postponed due to the increasing cases of Corona and Omicron. Earlier the film was scheduled to release in theaters on January 7. However, the makers have not yet announced the new release date of the film. It is believed that the makers will now take a decision on the new release date only after the situation gets better.
