After a much hype, the Ek do teen song from upcoming film “Baaghi 2”, was released today. The song is a remake of 1988’s all-time blockbuster song “Ek Do Teen” from superhit Tezaab. The Song is regarded as the mother of all item songs. No song till date is as influential as this one. Madhuri – Saroj duo has taken the song to next level because it became a nationwide anthem. It made Madhuri an overnight superstar. It’s iconic moves results in the first award to Saroj Khan for best choreography.
Why the much-hyped remake of “Ek Do Teen” fell flat?
- Vulgar moves of the song might have brought the masala, but it just removed the sweetness of the song for which they still remember the iconic song.
- Jacqueline is no Madhuri Dixit. Jacqi is a good dancer but she couldn’t replicate the ada, expressions, and movesto which Madhuri rules hence she failed to impress the audience.
- Madhuri Fans do not want to accept anyone to dance on the song except for Madhuri herself. The result of this mistake is that almost 25 percent of people disliked the choreography.
- No response from Madhuri herself made the just dumped entire remake. It is not that Madhuri never responded before since she was herself promoting tamma tamma for Alia and Varun Dhawan.
What just saved the song?
Undoubtedly, Shreya’s voice was only plus to the song, it is the only factor that just saved the day for the song.
