Terrorist attack on army vehicle in Kathua, 5 soldiers martyred, 5 injured

Jammu-Kashmir: Big news has come out about a terrorist attack on army personnel in Kathua, Jammu. Five soldiers have been martyred in the terrorist attack here. The news of this attack came out on Monday evening. The terrorists had targeted the army vehicle. Earlier, information about five soldiers being injured in this attack had come to light. Late in the evening, news came that four soldiers have been martyred in the terrorist attack. Five soldiers have also been injured in this incident. Whose treatment is going on in the Army Hospital.
Officials say that the terrorists had ambushed the soldiers. An encounter is going on between the terrorists and the security forces. The terrorists have done this nefarious act in Badnota village of Machedi area of Bilawar tehsil of the district.

This area comes under the 9th Corps of the Indian Army. After the firing of the terrorists, the army personnel retaliated. Firing is going on from both sides. Earlier on Saturday, six terrorists were killed in two encounters in Kulgam, Kashmir. During this, two soldiers were martyred.

A joint team of police and security forces was conducting a search operation in Machheri area at 3.30 pm when terrorists ambushed them and attacked with grenades. They also opened fire. After this, the army has surrounded the entire area. The encounter between terrorists and security forces is ongoing. An army officer said, ’10 soldiers were injured in this attack. Five of them lost their lives. 5 are still undergoing treatment.’
