‘No one has been paid salary in Delhi Women’s Commission for 6 months’, Swati Maliwal wrote a letter to Kejriwal

New Delhi: Former Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has written a letter to Chief Minister Kejriwal and made serious allegations. Maliwal has written in her letter that ever since she left the chairmanship of DCW, the commission is being discriminated against. Maliwal has said that for the last 6 months, no member of the commission has been given salary and its budget has also been reduced. Swati Maliwal herself has given information about this letter from her X handle.

After resigning from the post of Chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission, Swati Maliwal, who became a Rajya Sabha MP, has made serious allegations against the Delhi Government through her tweet. Swati Maliwal wrote in her post, ‘Ever since I resigned from the post of Chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission, the ministers and officers of the Delhi Government have opened a front against the Commission. No one has been paid salary for the last 6 months and the budget has also been reduced by 28.5 percent.’ She further wrote in her post that no work has been done even to fill the posts of Chairperson and 2 members.

Swati Maliwal has written a letter in this regard to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. She has written in the letter that it is very unfortunate that the government wants to destroy the systems that I built with so much hard work since 2015. Apart from this, Swati Maliwal has also mentioned the work of the commission in her letter. In a letter of total 4 pages, Swati Maliwal has given detailed information on different points.
