Weather will change from mountains to plains in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: To get relief from the heat, it is very important to have pre-monsoon rain, but this season due to no rain except for one or two days, record breaking heat was recorded. But today there are chances of relief due to change in weather.

After the long wait of May-June, there may be heavy rain in Uttarakhand today. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, an orange alert of rain and storm has been issued across the state on Wednesday. From the Centre, there are chances of rain with strong thunderstorm in Dehradun, Pauri, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital and Champawat districts.

There will be gusty winds at a speed of 80 kilometers in these districts. Whereas in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts, there is a possibility of rain with heavy thunder and gusty winds at a speed of 40-50 km. Similar situation will prevail in Tehri and Almora districts.

Meteorologists say that due to delay in pre-monsoon rains, this time the hot winds scorched for more days.

A situation of waterlogging may arise

There may be heavy rains along with thunderstorms across the state. Trees may fall in some areas due to gusty winds blowing at a speed of 60 to 70 kilometers. Due to heavy rains, waterlogging may occur in some areas. Apart from this, due to rain, there will be a drop in temperature from the plains to the mountains.
