Uttarakhand BJP News, 05 Feb 2024: BJP officials say that the trust of the people of the state towards BJP is continuously increasing. People from many parties and organizations are joining BJP.
To achieve its target of getting more than 70 percent votes in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP on Monday made a dent in Uttarakhand Jan Ekta Party, Congress and UKD. Uttarakhand Ekta Party President and former cabinet minister Dinesh Dhanai joined BJP along with his supporters on Monday. He also merged his party with BJP.
UKD Central President Mohan Kala, who contested from Srinagar Garhwal seat, also joined the BJP along with his supporters. State General Secretary of Congress PK Agarwal along with his wife Lakshmi Agarwal and supporters joined the BJP. His wife was the District Congress President of Pachhwa Doon. This joining program organized at BJP state headquarters took place in three shifts.
