Gopi Shankar Madurai, an equal rights and Indigenous rights activist have recently pleaded to PM Modi to save India. Shankar is one of the youngest members of National Council for Transgender Perople. He is the South Region Representative there.
Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) political party members allegedly harassed Gopi Shankar. Later, he pleaded Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India for justice and protection of his rights.
According to him, he was not able to meet any authorities regarding this issue and police was also refraining from registering his complaint.
