West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has sat on a dharna after the Election Commission stopped the 24-hour campaign. Mamata Banerjee is protesting near Gandhi idol in Kolkata. This action of the Election Commission has been done on Mamta Banerjee’s statement of Hindu-Muslim. Mamata Banerjee made a statement about the Muslim vote in the West Bengal assembly election campaign. On April 8, during the election public meeting in Hooghly, Mamata Banerjee said that Muslim votes should not be divided. That’s why the Election Commission stopped him from campaigning. Mamta Banerjee will not take part in any election campaign from April 12 at 8 pm to April 13 at 8 pm. Mamta Banerjee is protesting against this action of the Election Commission
After Banning Mamata Banerjee’s election campaign, TMC MP Derek O’Brien has called it a black day for democracy. Derek O’Brien said that the BJP knows that we are winning the election. Therefore, action is being taken on Mamta Banerjee from the Election Commission.
