121 people died after a stampede during a satsang in Hathras district of UP. After this accident, leaders from across the country expressed condolences. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reached Hathras today. Before going to Hathras, Rahul Gandhi stopped at Pilkhana village in Aligarh on the way. Here he met the victim’s family. Rahul Gandhi met the victim’s family in Pilkhana for half an hour. After meeting the victims here, he left for Hathras. He also met the victim families in Hathras. Let us tell you that the government has also announced compensation for the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.

After meeting the victim families, Rahul Gandhi said that many families have suffered a lot, many people have died. He said that there is a lack of administration and mistakes have also been made. The most important thing is that compensation should be given immediately, because all these are poor families and they need compensation right now. I request the UP CM to give compensation generously. He further said that if you give it after 6 months, after a year, then it is of no benefit to anyone. Compensation should be given as soon as possible and whatever amount is given should be given generously. The family members said that there is a lack of administration.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi went to Hathras today. On this, UP government minister Sanjay Kumar Nishad said that “If the opposition wants to do politics, they should do it. This is a sensitive matter. People should express their condolences on this and think of a new policy so that such incidents do not happen in future. Strict laws should be made for that. Such incidents have happened during their (Congress) time as well. After conducting an investigation, strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
