Zirakpur, 26 April 2024: Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha organized on the occasion of idol installation festival at Shri Sanatan Dharma Mandir Lohgarh came to an end today. During the program organized under the aegis of Shri Sanatan Dharma Mandir Sabha and Mahila Sankirtan Mandali Lohgarh, story teller Shyam Sundar Thakur ji read the story here.
At the closing ceremony of the program on Thursday, former Halka MLA N.K. Sharma and his family arrived as chief hosts and offered offerings in the Havan-Yagya. On Thursday, the last day of Katha week, sermons were given on Sudama character, Shukdev farewell, Bhagwat farewell.
On this occasion, a large number of devotees participated in the Havan-Yagya. Addressing the program, N.K. Sharma said that Geeta is such a holy book in which the solution to all the problems is hidden. There is no greater knowledge than the knowledge of Geeta.
He said that the teachings of Lord Krishna and the messages given in Geeta are meaningful in present life also. Geeta describes the problems that arise in human life and also explains their solutions.
