Two players from Uttarakhand made it to the BCCI camp, both are members of CAU

Dehradun: Uttarakhand cricketers Devendra Bora and Aditya Rawat have been selected for the High Performance Camp of National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Two players from Uttarakhand have been selected for the High Performance Camp organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Both the players selected are from Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU). NCA head VVS Laxman has sent a letter in this regard to CAU Secretary Mahim Verma on Tuesday. Mahim Verma said that this is a matter of pride for Uttarakhand.

Cricket Association of Uttarakhand Secretary Mahim Verma said that Uttarakhand cricketers Devendra Bora and Aditya Rawat have been selected for the High Performance Camp of the National Cricket Academy (NCA). It is the dream of any cricketer to be a part of NCA’s High Performance Camp. From here, it becomes easier for players to make their debut in international cricket. He told that Devendra Bora, originally a resident of Bageshwar, has been selected for the Under-23 camp.

Bora will be a part of the camp which will run till June 29 in Coimbatore. While Haldwani resident Aditya Rana has been selected for the Under-19 camp of NCA. Rana will participate in the camp running from June 20 to July 20 in Bangalore. He informed that the players will get world class training in the High Performance Camp of NCA. Only selected players of the country get a chance in this camp. BCCI also sends players who were part of Team India here. Mahim Verma has congratulated the selected players.
