CM Dhami called an important meeting in the Secretariat regarding the Chardham Yatra. Earlier, the Chief Secretary had issued necessary guidelines regarding the journey. District officers of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli also joined the meeting through video conferencing.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the Secretariat on Thursday afternoon and is taking information and giving guidelines regarding the arrangements for Chardham Yatra. Earlier in the morning, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi gave important information regarding the Chardham Yatra. Mobile phones will be banned up to 200 meters from the temple. Issuing guidelines in this regard, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi said that strict action will be taken if the rules are not followed.

CS said that a large number of devotees are coming for Chardham Yatra. During this time, many people are coming who are not coming for faith but are coming only for sightseeing and due to some of their actions, people’s faith is being hurt. Said that special attention needs to be paid to ensure that faith is not hurt here. Religious sentiments should not be hurt

More than 27 lakh registrations so far

More than 27 lakh registrations have been done so far for the Chardham Yatra. Whereas three lakh 34 thousand 732 pilgrims have visited. So far, 1,55,584 pilgrims have visited Kedarnath, 63,078 in Gangotri, 70,433 in Yamunotri and 45,637 in Badrinath.

Within six days after the doors of Kedarnath Dham opened, the number of visitors has crossed 1.5 lakh. A record 29278 devotees visited on Wednesday. During this time, there was a crowd of devotees in Kedarpuri including the temple premises from early morning till late evening.
