Moga, Punjab. Police arrested the main accused of shooting and killing two young girls in Moga’s village Manook within 24 hours. The accused is the son of the sarpanch of the same village in which both the girls resided.District Police Chief Harman Bir Singh Gill said that in the past, two young girls were shot dead by a 35-year-old young man with bullets. Moga police immediately swung into action as soon as they received the information. They said that Amandeep Kaur (23) and Kamalpreet Kaur (24), both residents of village Shekha police station, Samalsar district Moga, were sisters.Amandeep Kaur went to test at Dashmesh College Dagaru and sister Kamalpreet Kaur was also with her. When the two girls were returning to their village after the examination, the accused Gurveer Singh met them and forcibly took them in their car and took them towards Baghapurana. After reaching the village Manuk near Nihal Singh Wala after a debate on something on the way, the accused fired five bullets at the girls, who were on the neck and head. Due to this, one girl died on the spot while the other girl died on the way to hospital.
