Has joined Janata Party (BJP). This announcement was made at a program organized at the BJP office in Zirakpur.
The move is expected to have a big impact on the upcoming elections, as the BJP has claimed the victory of Maharani Preneet Kaur from Patiala. Sanjeev Khanna in his address said that Congress Party’s family alliance Bharat Alliance is motivated by personal agenda whereas Aam Aadmi Party which is contesting elections in alliance in Delhi is fooling the people here. He told that alliance member Lalu wants his son to become the Chief Minister, while Mamata Banerjee wants her nephew to remain on this post.Sonia Gandhi wants her son to become the Prime Minister. On the contrary, BJP is a party which works for the betterment of the country and the people without any personal motive. Sanjeev Khanna said that the decision of Derabassi Bar Association members to join BJP has been accepted with enthusiasm and support among the party leaders and supporters.
